Apreciadas familias,

Cerramos un capítulo más, un año más, de nuestros Cursos de Idiomas Padre Manyanet y... ¡ya van 50!

Quiero agradecer desde aquí, la dedicación, la profesionalidad, el interés y el trabajo bien hecho de todos y cada uno de los Directores y Monitores de los Grupos en los diferentes países.

Así pues, con el deseo de que los objetivos propuestos se hayan cumplido, espero que se haga realidad en cada uno de vuestros hogares el ideal de San José Manyanet: que cada familia sea como la de Nazaret (“Un Nazaret en cada hogar”).

Final Summer Camp!

Buenas tardes!

Agradecemos su presencia el viernes por la tarde en la clausura del Summer Camp. Esperamos que disfrutaran de la tarde como la disfrutamos nosotros.

MONDAY

HI parents,
 
We were so glad to see you on Sunday. We had an amazing time with you as we did last week! Despite being sad to say goodbye to some of our friends at the end of the second week, we will not forget you and either wish you a fantastic Summer! We would also like to wish a good Summer to Jo and thank her once again for being a cool monitor as well as a great teacher!!
 
This Sunday we also welcomed new children and so, our children have made some new friends. 
 
At night we went to the theatre and we watch a film which was Indiana Jones and the last crusade.

Fwd: Thursday & Friday

Hi parents,

On Thursday we spent the afternoon making our own masks using only three things: cleanfilm, plaster and water. Once we made them and let them dry, we decorated them using paint. It was really interesting because most of us hadn't done this before.

That night we had a masquerade ball where we wore our costumes and felt like models on a catwalk! The most original costumes were Irene's and Nico's. They really stood out!! Nevertheless, everyone had really good costumes and we all had a great time!

Yesterday we went to Port Aventura and it was a really long day because we went on almost all the rides! We had a really good time and when we got to school we had our Talent Show where we had to dance, guess which song our team mates were humming, pictionary and comedy.

Thursday

Hi parents,

Yesterday afternoon we went to the beach in Cambrils! As soon as we arrived we went into the sea which was freezing cold... Brrrr! It was also very windy so there was sand everywhere. Nevertheless we had an amazing time because we had time to play with each other.

Our night activity was also a lot of fun because we had the opportunity to act like superheroes! There were four different activities: Thor, Captain America, Spiderman and Black Widow. We liked of all the activities and hopefully we will be able to repeat it another day.

Today is Mar's Birthday and we have a surprise ready for her and we will show you the photos tomorrow!

Wednesday

Hi parents,

Our lessons are going really well! This week, apart from learning vocabulary and grammar, we have also been preparing a play and learning a song which we will have to perform.

Yesterday afternoon we went on a tour around Tarragona. We visited the most important parts of the city and we learnt about them which was very interesting because we learnt a lot of things regarding the history of Tarragona. Once the tour was over, we had some free time and so we bought sweets and souvenirs.

Today we are going to go to the beach in the afternoon and we are looking forward to it even though it is very windy.

Tuesday

Dear parents,

Yesterday we started a new week. We had lessons in the morning as usual and in the afternoon we went to the swimming pool! We were the only ones there and so we had a lot of space to swim and play which was great.

At night we went on a Treasure Hunt. This activity was made of four main tasks which won us different objects that we needed to find the treasure. Although it was a very well disputed treasure hunt, the winning team was Yellow Team!

Monday

Dear parents,
 
It was great seeing you on Sunday, we had an amazing time with you! Although it was sad to see some of our friends go at the end of the first week, we will not forget you and we wish you a fantastic Summer! We would also like to wish a good Summer to Padre Joaquin and thank him once again for being a great photographer!!
 
This Sunday we also welcomed new children and we have already become friends with them.
 
At night we went to the theatre and we watched a short video about adventures which introduced our new week in this cinema themed English Summer Camp: Adventures week.

SEPTIMO DIA CURSILLO SUMMER CAMP REUS 2014

Hi parents,   Yesterday we took the official photographs with our coordinators, teachers, monitors and with the headteacher from this school. In the afternoon we went to the swimming pool and we had a great time because the weather was really nice and hot and so we were always swimming and playing in the water.   Our night was different to our usual nights because we had a BBQ in the garden on campus.   We can't wait to see you today
