Italian Food & Tarragona!

Hi parents,

Yesterday was a day full of activities! In the morning we learnt how to make pizza from scratch. We were shown how to make dough using flour, olive oil, salt and water. Then, we shaped the base of our pizzas and we added the ingredients. They looked really good and tasted delicious!

In the afternoon, we visited Tarragona by tour train and we learnt a lot about this city. To finish off, we went to the beach!

Our night activity was a trivial about Tarragona! We knew all the answers, well... most of them and our monitors were really proud!

Experimenting with DYE!

Good morning parents,

Yesterday morning we had English classes and projects with our teachers! Our cooking workshop was a Masterchef relay. In teams, we created a dish using only fruit. To do this, we had to complete an assault course in turns, so each member had to cook at a time.

In the afternoon we did a really cool activity with our monitors. We learnt how to dye t-shirts, how to make different patterns and how to mix colours using dye. To finish off, we had a water fight!

Carnival!!

Hi parents,

On Monday morning we had English classes and projects! We spent our morning working on Carnival as our main theme. Our workshop consisted of cooking street food so we made sausage croissants which we ate as a snack!

In the afternoon we went to the swimming pool and although the weather was a bit cloudy, we had fun all the same and we even threw our monitors in the pool!

At night we celebrated Carnival. We put on our best costumes, danced and sung all night long! We had lots of fun and we want to share our photos with you!

Friday 7/07

On Friday, over the morning period, we had English classes and projects, as well as a cookery workshop! Our projects were about different ways of going to school and experimenting with energy drinks. The workshop consisted of cooking delicious energy bars which we later ate in Jumpland!

In the afternoon we went to Jumpland, a place that makes your adrenaline levels rise! Here you have some photos!

Saturday 08/07

On Saturday morning we had classes, projects and workshops! This time we cooked and decorated "Mug Cakes"! In the afternoon we stayed at school and we prepared some activities in teams because we had a Camp Rock competition that same night, after our amazing BBQ in the Chill-Out area we had prepared!

Sunday 09/07

After a long Saturday, we could sleep a little bit longer on Sunday morning which really helped us because of the day we had ahead of us!

We went on an all-day trip to a local farm where we saw and interacted with lots of different animals, played water games and got the opportunity to ride a horse! Once we arrived to school, we had another cookery workshop waiting for us, this time it was Tiramisu.

We were exhausted after such a long day so, after telling you all the news over the phone, we watched a film and went to sleep!
